Shaolin Temple of BooM was chosen out of 40 thousand plus bands to be one of the top 20 finalists, the best of the lot to enter the Scarface Video Game Soundtrack contest, by a panel of industry professionals run by Vivendi Universal and Interscope Records.  Countless radio stations accross the United States then started requesting CDs and MP3s from Shaolin Temple of BooM and soon after SToB was sought after in the the UK when Kerrang! Unsigned Artist Radio played "Crippled So Hard"SToB was then asked by EVE TV to showcase "Into Nothing" for the premeire of it's inaugural online event which is the largest multi-player game on one server in history and was listened to by over 30 thousand people.
    Enter 2007, Shaolin Temple of BooM's "Evil" was played on KROQ's Locals Only with Kat Corbett on January 7th and made music history on March 3rd when "Evil" was played on KROQ making Shaolin Temple of BooM the first completely unsigned band to be played in KROQ's regular rotationSToB was again played on Locals Only on April 30th as well as on Clearchannel Texas Radio 94.5 KFMX regular rotation. In August of 2007 Engl Amps endorsed David Alvarez and promoted this endorsement in music magazines accross Europe such as ROCK HARD out of Germany.

2. Shaolin Temple of BooM becomes artist of the month for August on 525.com Radio, beating out 36 Crazyfist (Roadrunner Records) and Ekotren (Blind Prophesy Records) in an online poll.
3. First unsigned band in history to be played on KROQ Los Angeles regular rotation when "Evil" was played on March 3rd, 2007.  SToB was first played on KROQ's Los Angeles Locals Only Show on January 7th and April 30th as well as being played on 94.5 Texas Radio KFMX's regular rotation.
4. First and only unsigned band to be asked by www.brickfish.com to hold a contest in it's name.  Brickfish held separate contests congruently with signed bands like "Switchfoot" among other signed national acts and SToB was second only to "Army of Anyone" in terms of activity and entries.
5. Radio play on Kerrang! Unsigned Artist Radio in the UK
6. SToB asked by EVE TV to feature "Into Nothing" for their inaugural online event featuring the largest gaming server in history.
6. Increasing worldwide radio play both on and off the net.
7. In March of 2006, SToB was part of the top 20 in the Scarface Videogame soundtrack contest finalists chosen by a panel of industry judges.

An incredible and loyal following around the world with fans making pages, blogs and forums dedicated to the movement and music of Shaolin Temple of BooM.  These fan dedicated sites are governed by StreetteaM leaders and supporters around the world that simply felt compelled to do it out of love of the music.
